Feeding

  • Feed 1/2 lb of feed for 100 lb. of body weight for maintenance of mature horses.
  • Feed up to 2% of body weight for maintenance of cattle on pasture. Feeding rate varies depending upon pasture condition and body condition of cattle.
  • Feed 1-3 pounds to sheep and goats depending upon age, stage of production, and condition of pasture.
  • Provide ample hay and/or pasture.
  • Provide plenty of clean, fresh water at all times.
  • DO NOT FEED wet, moldy or insect infested feed.
