Actually, Diatomaceous Earth is not an earth. It is the fossilized remains of microscopic shells created by one celled plants called DIATOMS. Not all deposits of Diatomaceous Earth diatoms present in those deposits are the same. Nature’s Creation® Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade is almost pure white and consists of 100% Silicon Dioxide. Nature’s Creation® Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade does not swell, does not absorb nutrients and poses no long-term hazard when used as an anti-caking agent in your animal’s feed.

Nature’s Creation® Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade is an anti-caking agent to be mixed in animal feed at a rate not to exceed 2% of the dry weight of the total rations.
